![]() For Dirac Live Bass Control, however, the lower frequen -Ĭies are highly correlated between speakers, and a better compensation isĪchieved by separating the target curve into a low-frequency part common In Dirac Live 2 the target curve setting the tonal balance was unique to the Way as when only using Dirac Live 2, the target curve when using Dirac Live In Dirac Live Bass Control, just as in Dirac Live, the tonal balance of the Regardless it sounds great, but want to avoid stressing speakers if at all a concern Worth noting nearly all are set to 70 Hz, yet my 4 atmos speakers (which are all the same exact speaker model from same batch) setup differently - 70 Hz front height and 100Hz rear height If Dirac picks the crossover points based on the measurements, then it would seem the Klipsch speaker/crossover selection is of no value - but if Dirac Live isn't determining this value, then perhaps it would have been beneficial to have what the speaker was engineered to handle. So I happen to have all Klipsch reference speakers and thought the Klipsch crossover marketing ploy was an added benefit for me but, contrary to Mr Rolf's statement around 30m35s in on this video Home Theater Fanatics w Onkyo, their listing of Klipsch speakers is actually extraordinarily limited - doesn't show any of my newer or older reference speakers - do any of you have Klipsch and see the same limited listing of like 7 models? Feel a little duped by Rolf stating the list has every known reference speaker imaginable. Are the values we can see in crossover area of Onkyo AVR site generated from those curves or did I pick them during setup without realizing?.If it does, is there a way to view them in our version of Dirac Live?.Does this mean then that this version doesn't set the crossover points?.so our version of Dirac Live that came with these new receivers (mine being the 7100) doesn't include the bass control. Question re: Klipsch crossover listings and Dirac Live. ![]()
